This is the Monster Blade I dug on 7/18/03. It is 9 3/8" long. I dug it at the Round Mountain camp in Coryell County in Central, Texas on the Leon River. They are calling this a Carrolton Blade I guess because this is the most prevalent point at this camp. I have never saw a Carrolton Blade in any book. This camp is the only camp I have ever dug with Axtel points in it. This camp also has some of the largest Early Triangulars I have ever seen, with heavy serrations. Dwain Rogers now owns this Monster Blade. |

This is a Grande 8 3/16" Castroville Blade I dug on 5/1/03. It is 2 7/16" wide and was about 6' deep. Dug in Burnet County on the Lampasas River in Central, Texas. It could be the largest Castroville Knife dug in Burnet County. I was lucky to get In-Situ pictures of this Grande Blade. Bill |
